## Why AI search matters now.

- **Buyers ask AI first** — More and more people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI answers for recommendations before they ever click a link.
- **AI only cites what it can read** — Content rendered only by JavaScript, missing structured data or blocked crawlers make you invisible to these assistants.
- **It’s mostly technical** — Fast pages, clean markup, structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt file. Exactly what we do.

## What to fix

- **Secure connection (HTTPS)** — Your site isn’t served over HTTPS. Browsers flag it and search engines rank it lower.
- **Server response time** — Your server is slow to respond. Visitors and crawlers wait before anything appears.
- **Page weight** — Your homepage HTML is heavy. It slows down phones and wastes crawl budget.
- **Number of scripts** — Many separate scripts load on your homepage. Each one delays the page.
- **Page title** — Your title is missing or not the right length (10–65 characters). It’s the headline people see in Google.
- **Meta description** — Your meta description is missing or the wrong length (50–165 characters). Google shows it under your title.
- **Main heading (H1)** — Your page should have exactly one main heading saying what you do.
- **Canonical URL** — No canonical URL. Search engines may index duplicate versions of your pages.
- **Mobile-friendly** — No mobile viewport tag. Your site likely renders badly on phones.
- **Language declared** — Your page doesn’t declare its language, which hurts multilingual search.
- **Image descriptions** — Many images have no alt text. Search engines and screen readers can’t understand them.
- **robots.txt** — No robots.txt file. Crawlers get no guidance about your site.
- **XML sitemap** — No sitemap found. Search engines may miss some of your pages.
- **Allowed in search results** — Your homepage tells search engines not to index it. You are invisible on Google.
- **Social title** — No Open Graph title. Shared links look generic on LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Facebook.
- **Social preview image** — No preview image. Shared links show up without a picture.
- **Structured data** — No structured data. AI assistants and Google can’t reliably tell who you are and what you sell.
- **Readable content** — Very little text is in the HTML. If your content loads with JavaScript, most AI crawlers simply don’t see it.
- **llms.txt** — No llms.txt file — the emerging standard that gives AI assistants a clean summary of your site.
- **AI crawlers allowed** — Your robots.txt blocks AI assistants. They can’t read or recommend your site.
